The Fraen Automatic Assembly department is a two shift operation engaged in manufacturing speedometer assemblies and sub-assemblies for automotive applications. Equipment and processes have been developed to maximize production with automatic inspection included as an integral part of the equipment.

The department currently houses over twenty dedicated machines performing assembly operations, producing more than 40 million units annually. Machines and equipment incorporate pneumatics, cams, rotary tables, and other mechanical means as well as sophisticated sensing and computer technology for part recognition, inspection and statistical process control (SPC).

Engineering and production personnel have extensive industry experience. This level of expertise allows Fraen to design and develop equipment and processes capable of meeting high quality, high volume automotive requirements.
